Custom Blending

With custom blending we can take 2 or more backdrops and blend them together so they look like one continuous scene such as transitioning from one of our mountain scenes to one of our city skyline scenes. Using this Custom Blending technique we can create any long scene you would like to have as your backdrop and it will look as though it were one panoramic photograph.

Custom Blending Example 1

Here is a Custom blend that is 24” by 24’ long. The blend uses 3 different skies including one of our Thunderstorm and Thunderstorm Transition skies. The scenes are the Cincinnati Freight Yard, Tennessee Rock Cut Continuous and Tennessee Rock Cut Continuous which we repeated.

Custom Blending Example 2

Here is a custom blend 24” x 42’ long. The blend uses several sky/cloud combinations and includes our, Abandoned Freight Yard Trinidad and several Cajon Pass backdrop scenes.

Our custom blending will give you a much more natural and believable blend between scenes then having to use a small selection of pre-made transition pieces like our competitors use. It is also completely custom so your railroad backdrop will be unique from every other model railroad.
